Building on their excellent themed paint sets from Lifecolor, here is SET 1. The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice that this is the first of two sets (the follow on XS 02 – SET 2) featuring camouflage colours worn by Royal Australian Air Force aircraft in WWII.
The 6 bottles of acrylic paint included are an authentic match for the camouflage colours applied to Royal Australian Air Force Boomerang, Wirraway, Spitfire and Vengeance aircraft. Specifically the colours included are:
- UA 513 – FS 20099 RAAF Earth Brown
- UA 514 – FS 24092 RAAF Foliage Green
- UA 515 – FS 25550 RAAF Sky Blue
- UA 516 – FS 36118 Dark Sea Grey
- UA 517 – FS 35042 Dark Ocean Blue
- UA 518 – FS 35231 Sky Blue Azure
These colours are designed to be hand and airbrushed and have good opacity and durability. Lifecolor thinner is recommended. The box back contains useful information on how to work with these good quality modelling paints, and that’s always useful.
